On day one she falls in love like with Alexander, the 41-year-old astronomer. His son Mickey, also fourteen, falls madly for Sybilla...  The town, once so quiet, seems electrified. The arrival of a French Captain in search of the sea, and the secret screening of an old Emmanuelle film bring things to a head...
