text=Feature Film in development Germany, 100 mins Johann *Rukeli* Trollmann is Sinto and professional boxer. For only a few days, he was German cruiserweight champion in 1933. He lived in two worlds. A settled gipsy in Hannover - a boxing star, who has a particular impact on women. He falls for an Aryan woman at a time when Hitler has already seized power. His boxing style is his elixir: With gipsy-tunes in his head, he plans to elegantly outdance his enemies in the boxing ring, as well as the Nazis, without getting hurt himself. At wartime, Trollmann switches from the boxing ring to the east front. The price is high: He loses the love of his life and his child and is deported to the concentration camp Neuengamme. In Neuengamme, he is being sterilized. Forced to teach the SS in boxing, Trollmann faces his last fight. He will not yield anymore. He knows, that the price for a victory is nothing less than his life. Egoli Tossell Film was able to ensure the exclusive cooperation of the Trollmann heirs for this biopic about the German boxing champion of 1933.
